Account & data deletion
Delete your account and data.
Deleting is permanent, takes effect immediately on your device, and never requires a phone call or a “are you sure” retention flow. Two paths, depending on whether you still have the app.
Path 1 · In the app (fastest)
Settings → Delete all my data
This erases your data from your device.
Path 2 · Without reinstalling the app
Email us the request
Uninstalled the app, lost the device, or just prefer email? Send a message with the subject “Delete my account”:
support@quitbets.app- We hold nothing that can identify you from the outside. That is by design: nobody can request your data, including someone pretending to be you. Deletion happens in the app (Path 1), and reinstalling it takes under a minute.
What gets deleted, what remains
Deleted
- Onboarding answers and quiz results
- Recovery data: quit date, check-ins, streak, reasons
- Money-saved history
Retained (required)
- Subscription and tax records, kept by Apple/Google and our receipt processor as the law requires

One thing deletion does not do
Deleting your data does not cancel an active subscription, because billing lives with Apple or Google, not with us. Cancel first: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → QuitBets ( Apple's guide), or Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions on Android.
